013 - One-Off Venues: Set 2

It's cold outside but the jams are nice and hot on this episode. This here is part two of our survey of shows from one-time venues. Andy is back once more and we've a whole new batch of tracks and venues to discuss.

This being set two, things get a little more loose and a lot weirder-- Just the way I like them.

If you missed part one (episode 012) head over here and listen to that first. It won't make a whole lot of difference but some there's at least one call back in this ep that won't make any sense.

Thanks again to Andy, for coming on and bringing his wealth of knowledge along with his sense of humor.  And thanks to you, kind listeners, for checking out the show.

Please, don't forget to follow the @BrokedownPod twitter account for regular news, live tweetstorms of shows as I listen, and other minutiae. We also now have an Instagram account. 012 - One-Off Venues: Set 1

Happy New Year! Here's hoping that your 2017 closed out well and 2018 is off to a good start. I know I'm hoping that we at the podcast, along with all of you, can take this one higher than the last.

With that in mind, we're kicking off 2018 with another visit from my good friend, Andy Barnes. Together we dug into a list of venues that the Grateful Dead only visited one time and we've assembled what I hope you'll find to be an entertaining listen.

We cover a fair big of ground in this set, from the 60's to the 80's, with some rock, blues, and jamming throughout. Once again, this will be a two-parter, continuing with Ep013 in two weeks. So spin this up and hunker down by the fire as we wait out the Winter together.

Thanks again to Andy, for coming on and bringing his wealth of knowledge along with his sense of humor.  And thanks to you, kind listeners, for checking out the show.
