We discussed his books, Desolate Angel (on Jack Kerouac and the Beats), A Long Strange Trip (on The Grateful Dead, of course), and On Highway 61: Music Race and the Evolution of Cultural Freedom. Dennis also tells us about his next project before we do what we always do and dig into his history with the Grateful Dead.
